The Tea Party is here!

Happy Tea Thursday to you all!

Welcome to my little cottage in the woods, I'm having a tea today for
all my blog friends and you are invited.

The table is all set and the tea is brewing, and there are plenty of goodies
to nibble on, so I will be listening to your knock, knock at my door and
can't wait to share a spot of tea with you and to get to know you better.

I'll be here from 10:00am-2:00pm this lovely Thursday and I will be checking
my comments every 15 minutes to see who has come to join in the fun today.
When you leave a comment, I will add your name to the teapot for the tea cup giveaway, so
don't be shy, let us know you're here.

I'll also be having a "can you find" giveaway. I'll let you know about it as the day goes on.
And I'll be adding alot of "did you know" facts about tea.
Of course I'll be using a teapot full of quotes today from famous and quietly famous people all regarding tea and the philosophy of tea drinking :)

Here's one now: (It's one of my fav quotes of all time)
"A woman is like a teabag. It's only when she's in hot water that you realize how strong she is"
Nancy Reagan

I'll also be showcasing a bunch of tea creations from fellow etsians.
So come on back through the day to see new additions.

I hope you will be able to take a little bit of time out of your schedule today and join us for a bit of rest and conversation and if your children are home or you have a neighbor that is home, then invite them to the table today.
That's the beautiful thing about tea, it gets us to sit, relax and share time with those we love.
Or, maybe, you are home alone today and you just need a little bit of quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of this busy season and my words to you are "brew some tea, grab a cookie and a cozy blanket and just sit and look out at the sky, don't even begin to feel guilty about the taking of some time for yourself! We all need it!

Soooo, that's the scoop, hope to hear your sweet knock at my door, ohhh, I think I hear someone now. Just sit back, enjoy your tea and I shall return :)
